I'm glad to see that Dan the Wizard is getting back into casting spells. It's always nice to see when somebody's career is coming back around after a hard point.
Am I the only one still raising my eyebrows when I say "roommate"? Come on, there's got to be a Dan/Roland subplot here! Do I just have overactive bear-dar?!
For this strip, it's also pretty funny if you completely forget that Dan is a wizard until he starts yelling about spells. Just speaking from experience here.
I once worked with a guy named Dan. He liked death metal too. He also might have been a wizard, but I don't have any proof.
The only thing I know for certain is the potential for a great party when you have a host familiar with the relationship of hot wax, chips, and rich people.

Bears that eat insects are clearly inferior. Polar bears only eat meat.

Every line of this comic makes me laugh. Especially Dan yelling, as well as Steve in Panel 6 and of course Panel 9, Thank God I found this comic.

Please don't judge me.

Metal for casting spells? I thought most wizards put on Iron and Wine and burned incense. Or maybe I'm not thinking of wizards...

In that case, he was a very good wizard.

Panel 2. How old is that fridge? Why do bears insist on living with old school technology? I bet seeing a built in ice maker would freak Roland out.

Yeah, you'd think being half polar bear, he'd have an ice maker!

I'll bet it's not electric. He has to load in the giant blocks of ice everyweek to keep all the condiments from going bad.

Steve is obviously into Retro kitch. Huge phone, small hat, Kelvinator fridge, Boxed set of Brady Bunch Beta tapes, etc...
