have you seen a pelican foot? (and I don't mean the shell.)
If pelicankind can maneuver those ungainly red-webbed monstrosities into knife-boots without fingers, they deserve all the airborne salmon and unceremonious hosing they can possibly handle.
Well, he did have his beer spilled all over him, so who knows how much he actually drank. Maybe on nights that he drinks a lot, he just walks the bike home.
Awesome as usual. Love the comic and registered to let you know! Just out of curiousity, do you write your comics on a daily basis, or do you sit down once a week (just an example) and write a bunch of comics at a time? It seems like it would be easier that way, especially with a continuing story! Just curious! Keep up the great work!
I do them one day at a time, and I've been trying to keep up to a 4-5 strip per week pace. Sometimes I write a few of them at a time, but I always draw them one day at a time.
Yeah, I can relate to this comic. All the taverns with sheep I've been to have been pretty low-brow. But the bear taverns are great, made lots of friends there. Just don't go there during mating season. God help you if you do.
Does Steve remind anyone else of Ryan Styles? I think it's his posture and the way he's drawn.
I don't know if I've said this before, but I love this comic. I read over 90 daily comics each day (obviously) and this is one of the very few that makes me laugh almost every time.

If the pelicans over step their boundaries, will it lead to a bear-pelican turf war? We all know who would win that battle.

It's a trick question. We don't know if either side is wearing knife-boots.

Steve knows safety comes first, hence the helmet. I wonder if he lets Mr. Owl ride on the handlebars sometimes.

You know, now that you mention it, I can totally see Steve being Ryan Styles, if Ryan Styles were a bear.

I like to put my finger over Steve's mouth and pretend that his nose is his mouth. That way, it looks like he's always in a state of nirvana.
